CentenaryCyclones.com polled members of the coaching and athletics staff for their top 10 moments from the last school year. Starting next week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the top 10 will be unveiled.

Doyle Makes Many Stops Against Drew: Being a goalkeeper on the men's lacrosse team can prove to be challenging, being a freshman goalkeeper can prove to be an even bigger challenge. On March 4 in the home opener against Drew, freshman
JT Doyle stepped up to the challenge. Doyle made 12 stops in the first half, including eight in the first quarter alone. He finished the game with 19 saves which proved to be a season-high for the freshman.

Parry's Goals Prove Key in Comeback Win: Men's Soccer entered its game on Oct. 12 against Clarks Summit looking to remain perfect in conference play. It was a battle throughout the first half as the two teams combined for 13 shots but neither was able to find the back of the net. Clarks Summit struck first in the second stanza and took a 1-0 lead. The Cyclones found the answer as sophomore
Shane Wilson and junior
Tom Parry connected twice (68th and 87th minutes) to lift Centenary to the 2-1 comeback win.

Men's Basketball Explodes for 107 Points in Win over Saint Elizabeth: One of the key highlights from the men's basketball season was an explosive offense that could put points on the board. The Cyclones scored at least 100 points in six games this past season. Perhaps the best offensive display came on Feb. 10 as the Cyclones tied the school record for points in a game with 107. After opening a 46-33 lead at the half, the Cyclones exploded for 61 points in the second half.
Tom Weiler (26 points),
Billy Veras (25 points) and
Chris LaBelle (22 points) all scored at least 20 points in the win.

Escano Battle on the Boards Against Notre Dame:Â In the regular season finale against Notre Dame (Md.) on Feb. 22, freshman
Carmen Escano made her presence felt in the rebounding game. Escano pulled down a season-high 22 rebounds in the contest, including 13 in the second half to lead the Cyclones to the 53-46 win. Escano's 22 rebounds are tied for fourth most in single-game history at Centenary and are the most rebounds by a Cyclone sinceÂ
Jessa Jones had 22 in 2006.

Fratesi Drives in Seven in a 20-5 Win: Senior
Cole Fratesi turned in a monster performance at the plate to lead the baseball team to a 20-5 win over SUNY Cobleskill in game two of a doubleheader on March 8. Fratesi went 4-for-4 with seven RBIs and two runs scored in the contest. He launched the first home run of his career, a grand slam over the scoreboard in left field to cap the scoring in the contest. His seven RBIs are tied for second most in single-game history at Centenary and were the most by a Cyclone since
Jon Fleck had seven against Valley Forge in 2019.

Thiessen's OT goal lifts Field Hockey to Win: In their final home game of the year, the Cyclones found themselves locked in a 2-2 tie with Notre Dame at the end of regulation. In the extra session, Notre Dame had the advantage early as freshman goalkeeperÂ
Sydnie Bogan was forced to make four saves early. The Cyclones were able to get a penalty corner and freshman
Jordan Vandermark passed to freshman
Michaela Thiessen for the game-winning goal. Thiessen's goal played a key role in helping the Cyclones make the playoffs.

Bennett Does a Little Bit of Everything for Cyclones: On March 10 at Felician, senior
Kaylee Bennett did a little bit of everything for the women's lacrosse team. In the first half, Bennett tallied three goals for her first hat trick of the season and third of her career. She added a second half assist for four points on the day. Bennett also added two ground balls and four caused turnovers in the contest.

Beyer Jr. Puts Up a Low Number at the Jersey Cup: Junior
Jerome Beyer Jr. has proven to be a key cog in the golf line-up throughout his career. On Oct. 24 at the New Jersey Collegiate Cup, Beyer Jr. proved it again as he posted a career-low 73 to the lead the Cyclones. He posted a 73 on the par 71 course and finished second at the event.
