HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - The 2019-20 school year provided plenty of highlights on the court, the fields and the mat. 

CentenaryCyclones.com polled members of the coaching and athletics staff for their top 10 moments from the last school year. Continuing through June on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the top 10 will be unveiled.

Today CentenaryCyclones.com moves to number eight with a fast cross country race that lead to Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) honors.

Run fast and get rewarded.

On November 2 at the CSAC Cross Country Championship, senior Cassidy Haller proved that point to be true.

Haller ran the 6k course in 26:28 earning sixth place at the championship. Her performance earned her First Team All-CSAC honors for the second straight year.

She completed the course 29 seconds faster than she did when the Cyclones took part in the CSAC Preview Race in October.

Haller is the first Cyclone to earn First Team All-CSAC honors in back-to-back years since Priscilla Ortiz (2015 and 2016).

CentenaryCyclones.com asked head coach William Crowell II about Haller's performance that day and throughout the season: "Cassidy had a remarkable season, literally running PRs from last year's course performances in nearly every meet this past cross country season," said Crowell. "She showed extreme leadership and teamwork throughout the entire season. She went from finishing 5th in a time of 27:35.5 at the CSAC Championships last year to a 6th place finish with more than a minute faster time of 26:28 to secure her place as a First Team All-CSAC selection for the second straight year. She has proven to be a remarkable student/ athlete and a great team leader. It has been an honor working with her this year and I look forward to next season highlights."
