BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – Senior
Cassidy Haller earned First Team All-Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) honors for the second straight year to lead the Centenary University women's and men's cross country teams at the CSAC Championship Meet on Saturday.
Haller's sixth place finish in the event helped the Centenary women finish sixth while the Cyclone men finished seventh.
Haller ran a time of 26:28 on the 6k course to finish sixth. She is the first Cyclone since
Priscilla Ortiz (2016 and 2015) to earn first team honors in back-to-back years. Her time was 29 seconds faster than what she ran in the CSAC Preview Meet in early October.
Sophomore
Meghan Barone crossed the line in 29:45 and finished 16th in the race. She bettered her time from the CSAC Preview Meet by nearly three minutes.
Senior
Alexis Alford posted a time of 35:00 and finished 37th. She improved her time from the preview meet by 3:17. Senior
Cailin O'Hara recorded a time of 36:21, which was good for 42nd place and was an improvement of two plus minutes from the race in October.
Freshman
Rhiannon Ginetti rounded out the Centenary contingent as she crossed the line in 36:46 and improved her time from the CSAC Preview Meet by nearly 10 minutes.
Senior
Justin Staszak led the men's team as he finished the 8k race in 33:28 and claimed 19th place.
Freshman
Jason Toledo ran a 37:30 and finished 31st, he bettered his time from the CSAC Preview Meet by a 1:30. Senior
Brian DiDonna posted a time of 38:25 and finished 34th.
Sophomore
Ellis Brown crossed the line in 40:55 and took home 40th place. Brown improved his time from the CSAC Preview Meet by five minutes. Senior
Dylan Hoagland rounded out the Centenary contingent as he completed the course in 58:34.
O'Hara and Brown were the Cyclones' representatives on the CSAC All-Sportsmanship teams.
