Ashley Eisenstein belts out seven hits with four RBI's as the Centenary softball team split with Immaculata University in this afternoon's Colonial States Athletic Conference game. With the split, the Cyclones now stand at 10-16 overall and 9-3 in the league, while the Mighty Macs are now 10-16 on the season and 10-6 in CSAC play.

Becca Raymond flied out to right field for the sacrifice.
Immaculated wasted no time in answering back as they plated seven runs off eight hits in the bottom of the third for an 11-2 advantage. The Mighty Macs would add another in the fourth while keeping the Cyclones scoreless to end the game in five.
The Macs outhit Centenary 15-9 and despite Clites and Eisenstein going a perfect (3-for-3) at the plate, the Cyclones were unable to push across runs leaving six runners stranded on the bags throughout the game.

Kylie Morgan-Polefka suffered the loss, while Mighty Mac Caitlin Brasier threw a complete game giving up two runs and striking out four in the win.
Centenary 13, Immaculata 10In game two the slugfest began in the first inning as Centenary opened the scoring plating one run but the Mighty Macs responded with four runs to take a 4-1 lead.
The Cyclones however quickly answered with five runs off five hits in the second inning to get back on top 6-4. Jess Curtis started the one out rally with a double to left field and came around to score after Eisenstein singled to left. Three consecutive hits from
Heather Passaro, Clites and Raymond would plate three more runs, before
Erin Walsh flied out to left for the sacrifice to round out the scoring.
Centenary added another run in the third but the Mighty Macs posted another four run inning to regain the lead 8-7.
Trailing 9-7 after Immaculata pushed another run across in the fourth, Centenary tied the game in the fifth after Eisenstein's double scored Curtis and
Sammie Darling.
The Cyclones continued to pour on the hits adding a run in the sixth and three runs in the seventh for a 13-9 advantage.
Becca Raymond highlighted the seventh frame with a two-RBI double to left center.
The Mighty Macs would threaten in their last at bats, but only managed to get one run across as they left three stranded.
Sammie Darling earned the win in game two after 6.2 innings pitched. Eisenstein had a day at the plate going 4-for-5 with four RBI's, Raymond went 3-for-5 driving in three
runs. Passaro and Curtis each collected three hits and an RBI in the victory.
Centenary will return to the field for their STRIKEOUT CANCER game as they host Gwynedd Mercy April 18
th, @ 1pm.
