Hackettstown, NJ - The Centenary College women's soccer team has earned the No. 2 seed in the Colonial States Athletic Conference Tournament and will host third-seeded Gwynedd Mercy University on Wednesday at the J.E. Reeves Turf Field beginning at 2:00 pm.

Under the guidance of Head Coach
Kevin Davies, the Cyclones (10-7-1, 9-2 CSAC) have appeared in all eight CSAC Tournaments since joining the league in 2007 and have earned their best conference record as of yet with nine wins. Centenary claimed the 2010 championship, earning the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, and owns a 6-5-3 record all-time in the league tournament (advanced 2-of-3 times in penalty kicks).

The Cyclones closed the regular season with a six game win streak, outscoring their opponents 21-1. Â Led by senior
Samantha Sysak (Bayonne, NJ / Holy Family Academy) who scored her seventh game- winning goal of the season when Centenary defeated Rosemont 4-0 on October 30
th in its regular-season finale. Senior Goalkeeper,
Megan Williams (Glenside, PA / Abington) notched her fifth shutout of the season.Â

Centenary and Gwynedd met last week and the Cyclones rallied late in the second half to edge the Griffins 2-1 in overtime. Â Sysak knotted the score at one apiece in the 87
th minute to send the game into overtime, where she sealed the game with the golden goal in the 106
th minute.Â
The Cyclones have a 7-0 record versus the Griffins since joining the CSAC conference and have never met in the CSAC Tournament. As momentum will have it, Centenary enters this semi-final matchup as one of the hottest teams in the league.Â
In the other semifinal match, No. 1 Cabrini will host fourth-seeded Marywood University Wednesday November 5
th at 6:30pm. Winners of each game will face off in the CSAC Championship Saturday November 8
th, 2014.Â
