HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — The Centenary University Women's Soccer team faced a tough conference matchup on Saturday, falling 6-0 to Marymount University. Despite the result, the afternoon was marked by celebration and gratitude as the Cyclones honored their seniors for their dedication and contributions to the program.
Centenary battled hard throughout the contest, generating several quality scoring chances. The Cyclones recorded three shots on goal, coming from
Alissandra Auletta,
Ashley Fogarty, and
Jessica Smith, showcasing their determination to stay aggressive against a strong Marymount defense.
In goal,
Emma Ferfecki put together a resilient performance, tallying 13 saves to keep the Cyclones within striking distance throughout much of the match.
While the scoreboard didn't favor Centenary, the day was more about reflection and recognition of the seniors who have left their mark on the program, both on and off the field. Their leadership and commitment have been instrumental in building a foundation for the future of Cyclones Soccer.
