Cyclones Fall to Neumann in Conference Matchup

Box Score HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — Centenary University Women's Lacrosse battled in an Atlantic East Conference showdown but ultimately fell 17-1 to Neumann University on Wednesday afternoon.

The Cyclones faced a tough Knights squad that controlled the pace from the opening draw, building an early lead and maintaining pressure throughout the contest. Despite the final scoreline, Centenary continued to compete and showed resilience on both ends of the field.

Centenary's lone goal came from Nora Dornich, who led the offensive effort with five shots on the day. Dornich also made her presence felt across the field, collecting four ground balls in a strong all-around performance.

Defensively, the Cyclones worked to slow Neumann's attack, battling through sustained possessions and transition opportunities. While Neumann capitalized offensively, Centenary continued to fight for possession and create chances when possible.

The Cyclones will look to regroup as they return to action this Saturday for Senior Day, where they will honor their graduating class and aim to bounce back in front of their home crowd.
