The Centenary University softball team fell to Fairleigh Dickinson University on Wednesday afternoon, dropping a 9-0 decision in five innings.
Offense was hard to come by for the Cyclones, who were held to just one hit in the contest. Senior Carolyn Rosenberg broke up the no-hitter with a single, accounting for Centenary's lone hit on the day.
Senior Jaelynn Miller started in the circle for the Cyclones and pitched all four defensive innings. She recorded one strikeout while battling a strong FDU lineup that steadily built their lead.
Centenary will look to regroup as they prepare for game 2 versus the non-conference opponent.Â
