The Centenary University softball team dropped game two of Tuesday's doubleheader against Fairleigh Dickinson University, falling 12-5 in a high-scoring contest.
Despite the loss, the Cyclones' offense showed signs of life, racking up eight hits on the day. Madison Passanante and Jaelynn Miller each tallied two hits to lead the way, while Sierra Stultz, Carolyn Rosenberg, Jayden Pennella, and Samantha Morris all added hits.
Centenary battled throughout the game but couldn't slow down FDU's bats, who pulled away in the later innings to secure the win.
The Cyclones will look to bounce back quickly as they return to action tomorrow in a conference matchup against Gwynedd Mercy.Â
