Center Valley, PA: The Cyclones traveled to Pennsylvania for a double header against the Bulldogs of DeSales University. The Clones went on to drop game one by a final score of 9-4, and won the second game 3-2. The Cyclones record now sits at a conference best, 7-3.
Game One
In the first game of the double header, the Cyclones swung the bat well at the plate despite being unable to pick up the win. As a team, the Cyclones batted .351, while scoring four runs and leaving nine runners on base. Starting in the circle, was Senior pitcher,
Julia Campen who tossed five and one-third innings allowing eight runs. Campen now sits at 1-3 on the season. Coming in to close out the game was
Kelly Ann Earrusso who threw two-thirds of an inning.
Game Two
The Cyclones jumped out to an early lead and did not turn back as the Clones went on to win 3-2. At the plate, the Clones recorded six hits in their twenty-six at bats, batting in two of their runs, and drawing two walks. After earning Atlantic East Pitcher of the Week honors,
Jaelynn Miller went on to pitch a complete game, allowing just two runs improving her record to 6-0 on the season.Â
