Hackettstown, NJ: The Cyclones fall in the first game of their home opener by a final score of 6-3. In game two, the Cyclones dominated the Bearcats en route to a 9-1 mercy rule win.
Game One
In the first game the Cyclones offense batted nine of twenty-nine with six extra base hits. The Cyclones batted in all three of their runs, and left eight runners on base. Starting game one for the Clones was
Julia Campen who went four and one-third innings and received the loss for the game. In Campen's outing, she struck-out three batters, and allowed six runs.
Kelly Ann Earrusso came in relief allowing zero runs and recording one strikeout.
Game Two
After picking up the loss in game one, the Cyclones would make a complete turnaround, dominating Baruch by a final score of 9-1. As a team, the Cyclones offense batted .429, batting in eight of their nine runs, and recording three extra-base hits. Picking up the win for the Cyclones was
Jaelynn Miller who improved her record to 7-0 on the season. Miller threw a complete game (five innings due to mercy rule), striking out five, allowing just three base hits, and giving up one run.
