EWING, N.J. – Sophomore Xavier Pena won his 20th match of the season as the Centenary University wrestling team fell to a talented No. 16 The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) squad on Wednesday night.

Pena improved to 20-4 on the year and remained undefeated in dual meet action as he battled over a 7-3 decision over Jake Falleni at 141-pounds.

Senior Jacy Jones gave Jake Giordano all he could handle before ultimately falling in a 5-3 decision at 133-pounds. Giordano, was an honorable mention wrestler in the latest D3wrestle.com rankings.

Seniors Justin Hopman, Matt Angelov and sophomore Keevon Berry all fell to nationally ranked wrestlers in their respective weight classes.

In exhibition action, senior Aidan Fernandez recorded a win by fall over Nick Sacco.

Centenary closes out the regular season when it travels to King's College on Friday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m.
