Haws and Thode Compete at NCAA National Championships

Cedar Rapids, IA: The Centenary Wrestling team sent 2 qualifiers to the NCAA DIII National Championships. Seniors Danny Haws and Jack Thode wrapped up their athletic careers. 

Jack Thode went 0-2 in the 125LBS bracket losing his first match to Adrian Samano of Averett by a 11-3 major decision pushing him to the consolation bracket before falling to Matthew Barley of U Chicago by a 8-6 decision to wrap up his career. 

Danny Haws won his opening round match against Marvin Armistead of Coast Guard by a fall (4:36) before dropping his next two matches to Jude Robson of Roanoke (11-2 MD) and Jacob Venezia of NYU (Fall 6:31). Haws finished his career with 101 wins.
