Ithaca, NY: Centenary capped off an outstanding weekend at the regional championships, led by
Jack Thode's title run at 125 lbs. Thode powered through the bracket to claim the regional championship, earning gold and securing an automatic berth to the NCAA National Championships.
At 133 lbs,
Danny Haws put together an impressive tournament of his own, advancing to the finals, finishing as regional runner-up, and hitting his 100th career win through process becoming the 5th in school history while punching his ticket to nationals alongside Thode. The Cyclones added three more podium finishes to complete a strong team showing.
Hunter Cleaver (165 lbs) and
Reece Smith (174 lbs) battled through the backside to earn fifth-place honors, while Joe Innamorato (141 lbs) fought to a sixth-place finish after a gritty weekend.
With five place winners and two national qualifiers, Centenary showcased its toughness and depth, building momentum as the Cyclones set their sights on the NCAA National Championships.
