Allentown, Pa. — The Centenary College women's lacrosse team battled throughout Wednesday afternoon but ultimately fell 12–6 to Cedar Crest Falcons on the road at the FalconPlex.
Centenary (2–2) showed flashes of strong play early and throughout the contest, but Cedar Crest (4–1) used a consistent offensive push to gradually build separation over the four quarters.
The Falcons opened the scoring and carried a narrow advantage through the first half. Centenary stayed within striking distance thanks to timely goals and defensive stops, heading into the break trailing by just two goals.
Centenary received balanced scoring contributions from several players. Trista Hough and Olivia Evans each led the Cyclones with two goals apiece, while Matalina Kratzel and Nora Dornich each added a goal to round out the scoring. Kratzel, Dornich, and Antonia Tucci also recorded assists in the effort.
Despite the result, the Cyclones showed resilience throughout the matchup, continuing to compete and generate offensive opportunities against a strong Falcons squad.
