Centenary Baseball came up clutch on Sunday afternoon, edging out a 4–3 victory to take the decisive third game of their conference series and walk away with the 2–1 series win.
The Cyclones were paced offensively by Anthony DiGrande, who had a standout day at the plate, going 3-for-4 and staying hot in a pivotal game. Derek DePace also came through with a multi-hit performance, adding two key base knocks to keep the offense rolling.
DiGrande and Myles Castillo provided the run support for Centenary, with Castillo driving in two of the team's four runs. DiGrande added an RBI of his own as the Cyclones capitalized on timely hitting to stay one step ahead of their opponent.
On the mound, Jake Keenan turned in a strong performance to earn the win. The right-hander worked six solid innings, allowing just two runs while striking out three. Keenan kept the opposition in check and handed the ball off to the bullpen with a lead in hand.
With the victory, Centenary secured a crucial conference series and continues building momentum as the postseason picture starts to take shape.
