HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — The Centenary University Women's Volleyball team dropped a non-conference matchup Tuesday night, falling 3-0 to Drew University. Despite the loss, the Cyclones saw standout performances from two of their leaders — junior outside hitter
Poppy Skjonnemand and setter
Vanessa Pagano — who continued to anchor the team offensively.
Skjonnemand delivered another strong outing, posting 20 kills, marking yet another impressive performance in her standout junior campaign. Pagano once again directed the offense efficiently, tallying over 20 assists to pace the Cyclones' attack.
While the Cyclones couldn't overcome Drew's balanced play and strong defensive effort, the team showed fight throughout the match, pushing several sets to tight margins.
Centenary will look to bounce back quickly as they return home for a special occasion, Senior Night, this Thursday, when they host one of their final home matches of the season.
The Cyclones will aim to send off their seniors in style and build momentum heading into the final stretch of their 2025 campaign.
