Biola Adeleye Joins St. Luke’s Sports Medicine Staff at Centenary University

Centenary University and St. Luke's Sports Medicine are excited to welcome Biola Adeleye to the athletic training staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer, bringing with her a unique blend of clinical expertise, athletic experience, and passion for holistic wellness.

A native of Jersey City, New Jersey, Adeleye's athletic roots run deep. She attended the University of Delaware, where she not only earned her degree but also competed as a track and field athlete, developing a firsthand understanding of the physical and mental demands placed on student-athletes.

Before joining the Centenary and St. Luke's team, Adeleye worked in an industrial setting in New York, where she focused on injury prevention, ergonomics, and workplace health. This experience allowed her to expand her approach to athletic training beyond the traditional sports environment—emphasizing proactive care and body mechanics to help individuals perform at their best, safely and efficiently.

Currently, Adeleye is pursuing her Master's degree in Kinesiology through Louisiana State University (LSU), continuing to deepen her expertise in human performance, rehabilitation, and movement science.

Outside of work and school, Adeleye lives an active lifestyle that reflects her love for movement and adventure. She enjoys skateboarding, running, playing soccer, and traveling, always seeking new ways to stay active and connect with the world around her.

With her background as both a competitive athlete and a skilled healthcare professional, Adeleye is poised to make an immediate impact on Centenary's athletic community—bringing energy, knowledge, and care to the Cyclones' sports medicine team.
