Cyclone Student-Athletes,
Welcome Back to campus! We are happy to see everyone back.Â
Returning Cyclones, this time of year is to catch up with teammates, roommates, and friends. A time to get back into the swing of classes and the grind of the sports schedules. But for Incoming Cyclones this is a time of uncharted territory, an exciting but hectic time.Â
This is where you are now on your own with your own time. It can be overwhelming for many trying to juggle class schedules with practice schedules and trying to meet new people all at the same time. It was overwhelming when I first started college and I struggled my first semester and my grades reflected that. But that does not have to happen to you.Â
Many student-athletes have been successful, and many have not. But here are some tips for student athletes to be successful.
- First thing to know is that every person you meet in college can be a resource for you.
Classmates, coaches, admissions, professors, university staff all have something to offer. Networking is important for personal growth and career growth for the future
