Hackettstown, NJ – Centenary University Athletics is excited to welcome
Lauren Byrne as the newest addition to the department's athletic training staff.
Byrne joins Centenary after recently earning her Master's in Athletic Training from Seton Hall University. She previously earned her Bachelor's Degree in Health Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she was also a four-year member of the women's soccer team.
Throughout her clinical education, Byrne gained experience working with athletes at the collegiate, high school and professional levels. Her clinical placements included Rutgers University, Gotham FC, Caldwell University and Roxbury High School, providing her with experience across a variety of sports and competitive environments.
As a former collegiate student-athlete herself, Byrne brings an understanding of the demands student-athletes face both on and off the field.
"I am excited to begin my career at Centenary University and look forward to supporting the health, safety, and success of our student-athletes," Byrne said.
Byrne will work alongside the Centenary Athletics staff to provide athletic training services and support the overall health and well-being of Cyclone student-athletes.
