Hackettstown, NJ: The Cyclones win game one of the Atlantic East Championship in an electric walk-off win. The Cyclones would go on to drop the second game of the series, and will now be forced to play a third game in the series.
Game One
The Cyclones batted ten of twenty-nine in the first game, and batted in four of the teams five runs. In the circle for game one of the AEC Championship was
Jaelynn Miller who tossed a complete game, to pick up her twenty third win of the season. Miller allowed five runs on ten base hits. The Cyclones went into the bottom of the seventh inning facing a a two run deficit.
Maggie Lenahan would reach first base on a walk, followed by a pair of singles from
Jessica Burlew and
Jaelynn Miller. Senior,
Toni Cacopardo would go on reach first base on a walk. In interesting fashion, the ball dropped on an infield fly allowing a run to cross the plate, tying the ball game. Graduate Student,
Rhiannon Ginnetti would go on to record the game winning single.
Game Two
The Cyclones struggled to get the bats going in the second game, as they were held to just three hits and one run in the seven innings of action.
Jaelynn Miller would once again toe the rubber for the Cyclones, holding the the Pacers to just three runs on seven eight hits. Miller recorded three strikeouts and walk three batters.

The Cyclones will host the Pacers tomorrow, Sunday, May 12th as a winner of the Atlantic East Conference will be crowned in the final game of the championship series.
