Hackettstown, NJ: After a close game one on the road, the Cyclones would drop the final two games of the series at hom. The Cyclones lost game one by a final score of 2-4 and 1-6 in the second game.
Game One - 7 Innings
Starting on the mound was first year pitcher,
Anthony DiGrande who threw two innings in his outing. Senior
Nick Guiro, would enter in relief and toss the final five innings of the game. Guiro recorded four strikeouts, and allowed two runs with just one earned. The Cyclones offense could not get the ball to drop in their favor, as they recorded just two hits while striking out only three times.
Game Two
Jake Keenan would get the start for the final game of the series, as he dominated the Cavaliers offense. Keenan recorded a total of six scoreless innings in his seven innings of work.
Anthony Fraser and
Adam Yarrison would close out the final two innings of the game for the Cyclones. The Cyclones offense once again could not get something going at the plate as they recorded just five base hits while leaving eight runners on.
