Arlington, VA: The Cyclones traveled to Virginia, to take on the Saints of Marymount where they would battle for first place in the Atlantic East. The Cyclones dropped game one 3-0, and won game two by a final score of 6-2.
Game One
The Cyclones offense struggled a bit in the first game recording just four base hits in twenty-four at bats. The Clones would draw just two walks and leave four runners on base. In the circle for the Clones, was
Jaelynn Miller who received her first loss in conference play. Miller tossed all six innings, allowing four hits, three runs with just two being earned, and racking up ten strikeouts.
Game TwoÂ
Jaelynn Miller jumped back out in the circle, earning her fifteenth win of the season, as she sits among the top ten in the country. Miller threw her second complete game of the day, allowing two earned runs, six base hits, and picking up five strikeouts. The offense would make a quick turnaround from game one, as they batted .333 as a team, batting in all six of their runs, recording four extra base hits and five stolen bases. With the win in game two, the Cyclones remain in the first seed in the Atlantic East.
