Myrtrle Beach, SC: The Cyclones split on their third day of play in South Carolina. The Cyclones dropped game one to Misericordia by a final score of 12-4, and won the second game by a score of 8-0 against Hilbert.
Game One
The Clones offense recorded just five hits in their twenty-seven at bats, leaving four runners on base. All four of the team's runs were batted in. Defensively, the Cyclones did not commit an error while recording twenty-one putouts, and fourteen assists.
Julia Campen started in the circle for the Cyclones throwing a complete game.
Game Two
The Cyclones shook off their outing from game one, and dominated Hilbert College in a game that was called due to mercy rule. As a team, the Cyclones batted .368 as they went seven for nineteen at the plate. The team would bat in seven of their eight runs, walk four times, and have one batter hit by a pitch.
Jaelynn Miller started for the Cyclones recording a a shutout in five innings. Miller struck-out nine batters and allowed just four hits en route to picking up her third win of the season.
