Hackettstown, NJ: The Cyclones drop game two of the series by a final score of 9-2. Game two of the double-header was cut short due to inclement weather, as it ended with a final score of
Game 1
The Cyclones scored just two runs in the game, batting in both and leaving seven runners on base. As a team, the Cyclones batted .259, drawing four walks, and stealing four bases throughout the game. Starting the first game of the day was Junior pitcher,
Zach Gehman tossed four and two-third innings allowing eight hits and five runs. Defensively, the Cyclones played a clean game committing zero errors, while recording twenty-one putouts.
Game 2
In game two, the Cyclones offense would start off with a bang as Junior catcher,
Nick Payne would hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning to put the Cyclones in front early. As a team, the Clones offense batted .360, while drawing four walks, and leaving eight runners on base.
Jake Keenan started the second game for the Clones tossing all five innings in the game. Keenan allowed three base hits, and just one earned run en route to his first win of the season.
