Wrestling Competes In Shorty Hitchcock Open

Millersville, PA: The Cyclones traveled to Millersville University for the annual Shorty Hitchcock Open.

The Clones placed twenty-fourth out of fifty-one participating teams. One of the nation's best wrestlers at 149 lbs. finished his day with a 2-2, winning a match by major decision (and by decision. Danny Haws would also post a 2-2 record, winning both matches by major decision as he looks to break into the national leader board for the 133 lb division. At 141, Joseph Innamorato also posted a 2-2 record after winning a match by decision and by tech fall. TJ Pawlicki would dominate his opponent in a 17-2 tech fall. The lone Cyclone to record a pinfall was, Miguel Lopez, against a Division I opponent, from Rider University.

Next weekend, the Cyclones will travel to Massachusetts, as they partake in the Springfield College Open. The tournament is slated to begin at 10 AM.
