La Plume, PA: The Cyclones started the Keystone Tip-Off Tournament on the right foot, picking up a win over Spalding University. After a back and forth contest, the Clones pulled through to extend their current win streak to three games.

Inside the Box Score

The Cyclones offense posted a total of sixty-three points in the contest, concluding each quarter with a lead. On the night, the Clones shot 44.4% from the floor on twenty-eight of sixty-three shooting. The strength for the Cyclones in the win was their ability to score at will in the paint, as they concluded the game with forty total points and rebounds, down low. The Clones would also add twelve second chance points, thirteen points off turnovers, and eleven fast break points to their stat line for the game. The Cyclones will look to improve their performance from behind the arc, and at the free throw line, as they will face off against the Keystone Giants, in the Keystone Tip-Off Tournament.

Game Standouts

Vatijah Davis recorded back to back double-doubles, after posting twenty-nine total points and twelve rebounds. 

Brie Opdyke posted eight total points in the win, while also facilitating the ball as Opsyje wrapped up the games adding seven assists, and seven rebounds. 

Coming off a dominant defensive performance in the Clones last outing, Kaylie Elsbree would record the third most points for the evening with seven, Adding a block, two assist, and a rebound.

Making her first start of the season was, Sofia Mendez, who came away from the night with six boards in the game.  Read Full Article
