Hackettstown, NJ: The 17th national ranked Cyclones hosted the 13th Annual Bob Quade Cyclone Open and had 18 wrestlers compete. There was no team score for this tournament. 


On The Mat

125 - #18 Sophomore Jack Thode went a perfect 3-0 (all by fall) to claim the 1st place title
133 - Sophomore Danny Haws (#13 in the country) breezed by his opponents by going 3-0 on the day to win 1st place
141 - #4 Senior Xavier Pena dominated the whole day (4-0, 3 falls) to claim 1st place 
174 - Hunter Cleaver continues to dominate his freshman year by coming away with a 3rd place finish (4-1)
197 - Senior Keevon Berry, ranked 20th in the country, fell short in the finals to place 2nd. He went 3-1, with two falls
285 - Freshman Arik Hums finished in 2nd place after going 4-1 with 2 major decisions.
