ELIZABETHTOWN, N.J.- Centenary Wrestling battled at the Ken Ober Memorial Tournament hosted by Elizabethtown on Saturday afternoon, finishing in second place overall out of 10 teams. On the day, Centenary had three first place, one second place and two third place finishes.
Coming on Top
125- Freshman
Jack Thode came in first place in the 125 division. On the day, Thode had two decisions, a tech fall and secured the championship with a fall against the nations #4 ranked wrestler.
141- Junior
Xavier Pena continues to dominate, winning the 141 weight class going 4-0 on the day with three tech falls and one pin. Peña is currently the 5th ranked wrestler in the nation according to D3wrestler.
157- Graduate Student
Cameron Bruffy came away with a championship at 157 with a 4-0 day. Bruffy picked up an 8-5 decision in the finals to go along with a pair of decisions, a major decision and a fall throughout the day.
Making the Final
184- Graduate Student
Justin Hopman battled to the final match, falling in the final bout. On the day, Hopman had a fall and two decisions.

133- Freshman
Danny Haws came in third place overall, winning the third place match and going 3-1 overall on the day.
197- Junior
Keevon Berry came in third place, finishing with 2-1 on the day including a 15-4 major decision in the third place match.
