BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Sophomore
Paul LiTrenta made seven saves but it was not enough as the Centenary University men's soccer fell at Moravian College on Wednesday afternoon.
The Greyhounds scored a goal in the first half and added a pair of tallies in the second stanza for the 3-0 victory.
Anthony Nagy scored at 20:02 to give the home team an early 1-0 advantage.
Moravian carried that 1-0 advantage into the half as the Greyhounds held a 10-8 shot advantage.
LiTrenta made all seven of his stops in the second half but it was not enough as Moravian added goals from
Andrew Goodolf and
Mike D'Angelo for the 3-0 victory.
Michael Bone started the game for Moravian and made three saves in the win.
Yamil Yunez added a stop in relief. It was LiTrenta's second game this season with seven or more saves in the game.
Sophomore
Jahn Lopez led the Cyclones with four shots in the game.Â
Moravian held a 20-14 advantage in shots and took 10 of the game's 11 corner kicks.
The Cyclones are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 7 when they host New Jersey City at 3 p.m.
