MOOSIC, Pa. – The Centenary University golf team posted its second lowest team score of the season but fell to both Marywood University and the University of Scranton at the Marywood Tri-Match on Thursday afternoon.
The Cyclones shot a 388 for the day while Scranton finished with a 314 and Marywood posted a 338 for the round.
For the third straight event, sophomore
Jerome Beyer Jr. was the Cyclones top finisher. He posted an 89 and claimed ninth place on the day.
Senior
Tyler Bowman was the next best finisher for Centenary as he posted a 93 and an 11th place finish. Sophomore
Jonathan Westfall carded a 99 and finished 12th.
Also competing for the Cyclones were senior
Chris Cameron who posted a 107 and junior
Nick Rothrock who finished with a 137.
Kyle Hayes of Scranton took home top honors on the day as he shot a 76.
The Cyclones wrap up the regular season on Wednesday, April 24 when they take on Clarks Summit at Indian Valley Golf Club. Â
