Nicole Soriero had a pair of goals and three draw controls to lead the Centenary University women's lacrosse team against Notre Dame (Maryland) University  in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) contest on Saturday afternoon.
The Gators jumped out to an 11-0 halftime lead and earned an 18-2 victory on the afternoon.
Megan Morales scored five first half goals to help Notre Dame open up the halftime advantage.
Soriero got the Cyclones on the board at the 27:38 mark of the second half with her team leading 10th goal of the year.
Centenary got a second goal from Soriero as she converted a free position opportunity at 14:55.
Notre Dame scored seven goals in the second half to finish off the 18-2 win.
Marie Salas started the game in goal for the Gators and made two saves for the win.
Calenna Cauley played the second half in net for the Gators and made one save. Senior
Renee Hack finished with 13 saves for the Cyclones in the loss.
Morales finished the day with nine goals, eight draw controls and four ground balls for Notre Dame.
Kirstin McGee added two goals, two assists and five draw controls for the visitors.
In addition to Soriero's two goals and three draw controls, the Cyclones got three ground balls and three caused turnovers from junior
Kaylee Bennett.
Centenary is back in action on Tuesday, April 16 as the Cyclones travel to Keystone for a 4 p.m. game.
