ROANOKE, Va. – Senior Etiini Udott earned All-American status after finishing fourth at 197-pounds while representing the Centenary University wrestling team on day two of the NCAA Division III National Championship Meet.

Udott becomes the fourth wrestler in program history to earn All-American status in multiple years (Will Livingston, Chris Burdge, J.D. Zitone). It also marks the 13th time overall that a Centenary wrestler has earned All-American accolades.

Udott, who went 2-1 on Saturday, recorded the 100th and 101st wins of his Cyclone career. He is the first wrestler in program history to earn 100 wins as a Cyclone.

Udott started his day by recording a 3-2 decision over Antonio McCloud of Mount Saint Joseph. After a scoreless first period, Udott recorded an escape and a takedown in the second period and took a 3-1 lead. McCloud got a point on a third period escape but Udott held on for the win.

Udott then earned a fall in 4:53 versus Guy Patron of Loras, who was the second seed in the 197-pound bracket. That victory advanced Udott to the third place bout.

Udott then had a rematch of his quarterfinal bout as he faced Riley Kauzlaric of Wisconsin Whitewater in the third place match. Kauzlaric took the lead in the first period on a takedown and eventually claimed the 5-2 decision over Udott.
