HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Centenary University women's basketball team used a strong third quarter to come from behind and secure a 47-44 win over Cedar Crest College on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play.
With the win, the Cyclones have clinched a spot in the CSAC Tournament for the fourth straight year. Centenary's seeding will be determined by the results of the final week of the regular season.

Meghan Gregory at 4:15 helped the Falcons open up an early 10-4 lead.
Centenary scored four of the final six points in the period and cut the Cedar Crest lead to 12-8 after one period of play. Sophomore
Danika Brandt and freshman
Carly Tarnowski each made a bucket for the Cyclones during that stretch.
The two teams battled on each end of the court through the first half of the second quarter as a lay-up from
Mackenzie Borger at 4:36 put the visitors on top 18-14.
Centenary used a 7-5 run to pull to within two, 23-21 at the half. Junior
Dayna Wich scored six of the seven for the Cyclones during that stretch.
Natasha Barber scored four of the first six points in the third quarter and pushed Cedar Crest's advantage to 27-23.
Centenary tallied 10 of the final 12 points in the third quarter and took a 33-29 lead after three periods of play. Wich and freshman
Meghan Barone each scored three points during that stretch.
The Cyclones scored the first six points of the fourth quarter and extended their lead to 39-29 with 6:40 play.
The two teams traded baskets as jumper from freshman
Caitlyn Reyes gave the home team a 43-37 advantage with 4:28 showing on the clock.
Cedar Crest scored five of the next six points and cut the Centenary lead to two, 44-42 with 1:06 remaining in the game. Gregory struck for three during that run.
Wich pushed the Centenary lead back to four, 46-42 with a pair of free throws with 19 seconds to go.
A Borger jumper with 10 seconds showing on the clock made it a two-point game, 46-44.
Brandt made one-of-two from the charity stripe with six seconds left, which made it a 47-44 game. A last second three-pointer from Cedar Crest fell short and the Cyclones claimed the victory.
Centenary shot 28.6 percent from the field in the game and was aided by going 14-for-19 from the foul line. Cedar Crest finished the game shooting 26.6 from the field and went 6-for-11 from the charity stripe. The Falcons held a 50-43 edge in the rebounding battle.
Wich led the Cyclones with 14 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists. The junior was an impressive 10-for-13 from the foul line in the game. Freshman
Jessica McKenzie contributed 10 points and five rebounds while Reyes grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds to go with four points.
Gregory led Cedar Crest with 13 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks in the game.
The Cyclones are back in action as they travel to Valley Forge for a 7 p.m. game on Monday, Feb. 11.
