HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Jan. 10, 2017) – The Centenary University wrestling team improved to 3-0 with a 31-12 upset victory over the No. 16 Colonels of Wilkes University on Tuesday evening.

Putting the Cyclones on the board with a pin was 133-pound freshman
, Dylan Luciano (Long Valley, N.J. / West Morris Central), against Pankil Chander with a time of 4:12. 141-pound sophomore,
Max Nauta (Hackettstown, N.J. / Warren Hills Regional), followed Luciano's pin with a 11-3 major decision over Cory Fleming.
The win streak continued as 149-pound sophomore
Christopher Muce (Monroe Township, N.J. / Monroe Township) and 157-pound sophomore
Alec Donovan (Brick, N.J. / Brick Memorial) posted decisions of 6-2 and 7-4, respectively. 184-pound freshman
Konstaninos Protogeropoulos (Newton, N.J. / Newton) joined them with a decision of 5-2 over Jacob Brooks.
In the final bout of the night, 197-pound freshman
Etiini Udott (Piscataway, N.J. / Piscataway) won by pin in 4:46 over Nasser McCummings. At 285 pounds,
Anthony Colabella (Flanders, N.J. / Mount Olive) took a forfeit victory.
