Mallory George (Berkeley Heights, N.J. / Governor Livingston) finished with 13 points and seven rebounds as the Centenary University women's basketball team dropped their first road contest of the season with a 76-32 loss to FDU-Florham on Monday evening.
Kendrea Williams finished with 20 points, including connecting on five triples for the Devils who improve to 2-1 overall. Senior
Heather Yaros (Hopatcong, N.J. / Hopatcong) finished with seven points and six rebounds and three blocks for the Cyclones who fall to 2-1 overall.
The Devils held a 41-23 halftime lead after dominating the glass 21-12, including 11 offensive boards, and knocking down four triples in the first half. George led all scorers with 12 points including scoring Centenary's first basket of the game.
In the second half, FDU extended upon their halftime lead as the Cyclones were held to just nine points in the second half.

Melissa Rabe (Byram, N.J. / Lenape Valley) finished six points and four rebounds, while juniors
Rachel Edwards (Phillipsburg, N.J. / Phillipsburg),
Nicole Cartaino (Midland Park, N.J. / Midland Park) and
Julia Presant (Cherry Hill, N.J. / Cherry Hill East) each scored a bucket for Centenary. Alyssa McDonough finished with 12 points and nine rebounds, while Taiah Thornton finished with 11 points.
