HACKETTSTOWN, N.J.- (Oct. 12, 2016) - The Centenary University volleyball team fell in CSAC play to Gwyedd Mercy 3-0 on Wednesday night. Sophomore
Zoey Woody (North Brunswick, N.J. / North Brunswick) finished with 18 assists as the Cyclones fall to 1-19 on the season.
Centenary fell in three sets, losing 25-19, 25-23 and 29-27.
The Cyclones were led by Woody who finished with 18 assists, three kills and 10 digs. Junior
Amanda Fullem (Linden, N.J. / Mother Seton) chipped in three kills and 11 digs, while senior
Jamie Bierbaum (Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) totaled seven kills and three digs.
Sophomore
Ashley Bierbaum (Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) contributed five kills and nine digs, while sophomore
Valentina Suizzo (North Haledon, N.J. / Eastern Christian) finished with four kills, three aces and 11 digs.
Head Coach
Kelsey Walter and the Cyclones will return to action as they travel to Rosemont College on Tuesday, October 18 at 7 pm.
