ROSEMONT, Pa. (Oct. 18, 2016)- Sophomore
Ashley Bierbaum (Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) finished with 10 digs, eight kills and four aces as the Centenary University volleyball team fell to Rosemont College in five sets, 3-2 on Tuesday evening.
Morgan Rollins finished with 14 kills for the Ravens who improve to 1-17 overall and 1-7 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Sophomore
Zoey Woody (North Brunswick, N.J. / North Brunswick) totaled 21 assists for the Cyclones who fall to 1-20 overall and 0-8 in the CSAC.
The Cyclones took set one and set two, before the Ravens rallied in the final three sets to take the match. In set one, Woody helped Centenary recover from a 13-9 deficit, after recording four straight aces. In a close set two, the Cyclones squeezed out the victory with back-to-back kills from senior
Jamie Bierbaum (Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) and junior
Amanda Fullem (Linden, N.J. / Mother Seton).
Fullem finished with 10 digs, while sophomore
Giani Montalvo (Elizabeth, N.J. / Elizabeth) finished with nine digs and six kills. Rollins added 15 digs and three blocks, while Leilan Naone-Carter tallied a match-high 33 assists.

Kelsey Walter and the Cyclones will return to action on Thursday, Oct. 20, hosting the Knights of Neumann University at 7:00 p.m.
