HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Jan. 7, 2016)- Junior
Melissa Rabe (Byram, N.J. / Lenape Valley) made a career-high three triples and finished with a career-high 21 points and nine rebounds as the Centenary College women's basketball team rallied from a 12 point first half deficit to defeat Rosemont College, 79-60.

Mallory George (Berkeley Heights, N.J. / Governor Livingston) collected her ninth double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds as the Cyclones improve to 6-6 overall and 2-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Ayanna Thompson finished with 16 points and six assists for the Ravens who fall to 3-8 overall and 1-3 in the CSAC.
Thompson made three triples in the first half and finished with 12 points, as the Ravens took their largest lead of the game at 41-29 with 1:06 remaining in the second quarter. Centenary stayed within striking distance as Rabe sank two free throws and senior
Angela Randle (East Orange, N.J. / Marist) made a key steal that led to a fast break basket. The Cyclones only trailed 41-33 at the intermission.
Rabe found her rhythm in the second half, as the junior scored 10 of her 21 points during a 16-4 run in the third quarter. That run rallied Centenary and gave them a 51-45 advantage at the 3:53 mark in the third. Rabe along with senior
Ally Fugnitti (Wood-Ridge, N.J. / Wood-Ridge), who finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists, slammed the door on the Ravens comeback by closing the game on a 28-7 run.
Sophomore
Nicole Cartaino (Midland Park, N.J. / Midland Park) gave the Cyclones a lift off the bench with nine points and three rebounds in 19 minutes of work. Rosemont had three other starters finish in double-figures, led by Leilani Naone-Carter with 10 points and 11 rebounds, including eight offensive caroms.
