Na'imah Spells (Irvington, N.J. / Irvington) recorded a match-high 22 digs as the Centenary College volleyball team dropped a Colonial States Athletic Conference match to the Griffins of Gwynedd-Mercy University, 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-17) this evening.
Brianna Greer finished with a match-high nine kills as the Griffins improve to 6-10 overall and 3-1 in the CSAC. Junior
Jamie Bierbaum (Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) finished with nine digs and six kills for the Cyclones who fall to 1-10 overall and 0-3 in the CSAC.
Freshman
Zoey Woody (North Brunswick, N.J. / North Brunswick) finished with five kills, four assists and two aces, while fellow classmate
Ashley Bierbaum (Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) finished with 10 digs, eight assists and an ace. Freshman
Caroline Bikles (Glendale, N.Y. / Archbishop Molloy) started the match and recorded two digs.
Head Coach
Kelsey Walter and the Cyclones will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 3
rd, as they will host a tri-match with the Cavaliers of Cabrini and the Cannoneers of Pratt Institute. The first match is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
