Na'imah Spells (Irvington, N.J. / Irvington) recorded 39 digs over two matches, as the Centenary College volleyball team dropped matches to Cabrini College and Pratt Institute on Saturday afternoon.
Cabrini 3, Centenary 0 The opening match-up of the tri-match featured rivals from the Colonial States Athletic Conference. The Cavaliers dominated from the opening whistle, as they used an extremely up-tempo style to overwhelm the Cyclones and complete the sweep 3-0 (25-6, 25-10, 25-12).
Nicole Sokolovich led Cabrini with 10 kills and Cassidy Koeing recorded 29 assists for the Cavaliers who improved to 10-6 overall and 3-0 in the CSAC. Spells finished with 15 digs, while fellow classmate
Jamie Bierbaum (Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) finished with four kills and two aces for the Cyclones who fall to 1-11 overall and 0-4 in the CSAC. Freshman

Pratt 3, Centenary 0 The final match of the day proved to be a little more even as the Cyclones were in all three sets for a period of time but failed to hold any lead and win a set. The Cannoners swept the Cyclones 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 26-24) to improve to 4-11, while Centenary falls to 1-12 overall.Charlotte Burch finished with 10 kills and seven digs, while Alli Houghton tallied 21 assists.
