Jesse Goleman

One of the greatest goalkeepers to play for the Cyclones, Jesse Goleman now lends his talents to the program on the sidelines as an assistant coach. Goleman’s primary responsibility is to work with the goalkeepers.

In 2018, Goleman helped the Cyclones make the CSAC playoffs. Under his guidance, Devon Warne became just the second goalie in program history to finish his career with 300 or more saves (Goleman was the first).
 
In his first season, Goleman helped lead the Cyclones to their 2nd CSAC Championship, and NCAA Tournament Appearance.
 
Goleman finished his playing career in 2015, playing and starting in 77 games for the Cyclones, which ranks him 2nd All-time. Goleman also finished his career as the program’s all-time leader in Saves, Goals Against Average, Save Percentage, Shutouts, and Wins.
 
During his playing career, Goleman helped lead the Cyclones to four consecutive CSAC playoff berths, including the program’s first ever CSAC championship in 2013, and NCAA Tournament Appearance.
 
Goleman was an All-CSAC selection 2013, 2014, and 2015, and an NSCAA All-Region Selection in 2014. Goleman has also represented the USA Maccabi Team on three different occasions in 2012, 2013, and 2015, playing Brazil, Israel, and Chile, respectively.
 
Goleman holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management, and a minor in Communication from Centenary. Goleman has earned his Level 2 Goalkeeper License through United Soccer Coaches. He works as a Sports Performance Specialist at Athletic Republic, a sports performance facility that will help improve, speed, explosiveness, strength and much more. ?
