The Centenary University Women's Flag Football team battled through a challenging doubleheader, falling in a pair of contests against Penn State Schuylkill and Immaculata University.
In game one, the Cyclones were locked in a competitive back-and-forth battle with Penn State Schuylkill, ultimately coming up just short in a 33-27 loss. Centenary's offense showed resilience throughout, matching scores and keeping the pressure on, but a late push by Penn State Schuylkill proved to be the difference in a tightly contested matchup.
Game two presented a tougher challenge, as the Cyclones fell 44-0 to Immaculata. Despite the final score, Centenary continued to compete and gain valuable experience against a strong opponent, working to find rhythm on both sides of the ball.
The Cyclones will look to regroup and bounce back as they continue their season, building off the fight and determination shown throughout the doubleheader.
