Centenary IDA Claims Top Honors in Dominant Home Show Performance

Hackettstown, N.J. - If there was ever a time for the team to bring their all- it was the hosted show. Centenary University's IDA team dominated their fall home show to complete a clean sweep of high point honors.

Karina Green began the day in the Introductory division with "Mo". The pair earned a score of 61.875% to tie for sixth, ultimately falling to seventh after tiebreaking procedures. Lily Szark then rode "Wellie" to receive a score of 68.125% for Lily's personal best and first place in the division. In the Lower Training division, Olivia Minnich and "Shady" had a lovely test, receiving a score of 63.462% for sixth place. Noelle Telep and "Lewis" performed a near-perfect pattern for a massive score of 76.731%, taking the division win by over six points.
The day continued with Emily Laskas drawing "Tiki" for Upper Training. Emily had a flowing, accurate test to receive a score of 72.6% and take the win for the division- her first one at this level. Aleia Gonzalez rode "Chicago" for her personal best score and placing- a 66.6% and second place. Elizabeth Furtkevic vied for team points in First Level with "Yogi". After an accurate, correct test, the pair came away with a score of 68.485% and second place- missing the win by just 0.5%. Avery Barwick followed this up with "Hank", receiving a 66.818% and third place after a harmonious ride.
In the Dressage Seat Equitation, Elizabeth Furtkevic and "Elvis" took the win in First Level while Micaela Calvetti and "Frankie" were second in Lower Training and Audrey Schilling and "Eli" were third in Introductory.
