Hackettstown, NJ - Centenary University Athletics inducts forty-one student-athletes into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society at the Athletics End of Year Awards Banquet on Sunday, April 21st. The Cyclones most recent class of inductees was in 2020 under Marianne Pratschler. Recognizing the value in bringing back this National Honor Society, the 2024 class was inducted by Juliana Belar, Assistant Director of Academic & Career Services for Student-Athletes, SWA and Dr. William Carpluk, Faculty Athletic Representative.
To earn this distinction, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:
- Achieve at least junior academic standing as determined by Centenary University.
- Hold a minimum of a 3.4 cumulative grade point average by the time of selection.
- Be given approval by head coach of their sport.
- Be of exceptional moral character.
