Centenary University has announced the addition of Daniel Gold as its new Director of Men's Lacrosse Operations, bringing with him a strong reputation for program building, athlete development, and championship success.

Gold began his collegiate coaching career with stints at Emerson College and the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he quickly established himself as a dedicated and strategic leader. His most notable impact came at Newark Academy, where he transformed the lacrosse program from a roster of just 16 players to more than 40 in a few short years.

Under his guidance, Newark Academy achieved unprecedented success, producing a record-breaking scorer and multiple student-athletes who earned All-Conference and Division honors. Over the past two seasons, Gold led the team to back-to-back division and conference championships, culminating in his recognition as Coach of the Year in 2024.

Gold's proven track record of developing athletes, elevating programs, and fostering winning cultures makes him an exciting addition to the Centenary athletic community.

A New Jersey native, Gold's lacrosse journey began at Randolph High School before continuing at Emerson College, where he competed at the collegiate level. He now resides in Chester, NJ, with his wife Amy and their son Jordan.
