Wrestling Dominates Hunter College

Hackettstown, NJ: The Cyclones had a dominant outing on the mat Saturday morning, against Hunter College. The Cyclones concluded the match with a final score of 51-5, en route to their first win of the 2024-25 Season. 

On the Mat

The Cyclones retain their trophy against Hunter College, following the dominant performance. The day started at 125, where Sean Callan won by tech fall (17-0, 4:36). Joseph Innamorato went on to win his match by pin fall in one minute and fifty-nine seconds. #7 Ranked, Xavier Pena dominated his opponent, winning by pin fall one minute and forty-seven seconds into the bout.  Sophomore Collin Neal, would also have a standout performance winning the match at 157 by tech fall (19-2, 3:21). Mark Venson Jr. would keep the string of dominant performances going, as he won by pin fall at two minutes and forty-one seconds. Tim Pawlicki, would record the quickest match of the morning, pinning his opponent in the first twenty-seven seconds of the match. At 197, Aaron Llanas would have a very good performance winning his match by tech (18-1, 3:17). In the heavyweight bout, Aidan Mackenzie would finish the match by pin, in forty-on seconds.
