HACKETTSTOWN, N.J.- Centenary Wrestling faced the #10 ranked team in the nation on Wednesday evening, The College of New Jersey, falling overall 24-18. 

The Results
125- Freshman Jack Thode, ranked #10 in the country, won by forfeit. 
133- Freshman Danny Haws won by major decision, 15-6
141- Junior Xavier Pena, the #9 ranked wrestler in the country according to inter-mat rankings, won by fall in the second period. 
149- Freshman Mark Venson fell in a mjor decision, 9-0.
157- Graduate Student Cameron Bruffy lost a tight match, 2-1 due to 1-minute riding time awarded to TCNJ.
165- Senior Perry Maio battled hard, falling 11-2 by major decision.
174- Sophomore Angelo Piazza lost by major decision, 10-2. 
184- Graduate Student Justin Hopman fell in a tigh match by decision, 3-1. 
197- Junior Keevon Berry came aware with a thrilling late match victory in sudden death 1, 8-6. 
285- Freshman Dalton Deevey lost by fall in the third period.

Up Next
The Clones return to Reeves Gymnasium for their final home match of the 2023 season when they take on King's College at 7pm. This match will also be senior night.
