HACKETTSTOWN, N.J.- On a night when the Women's Basketball team took the floor with heavy hearts as the Cyclone community morns the loss of First Lady, Jeanne Murphy, the Lady Clones produced a dominating performance Wednesday night, defeating Pratt Institute, 71-44. With the victory, the Cyclones improve to 9-6 (0-2) overall and the Cannoneers drop to 1-13 (0-0).
Moment of Silence
Prior to the start the contest, a moment of silence was recognized to honor the life of Centenary University First Lady, Jeanne Murphy. Jeanne passed away over the weekend after a tragic accident. A vigil will take place in front of the Golden Dome on the front lawn of Centenary University, Thursday, January 11 at 5:30pm.

Viviana Mendez had a career high 11-points, nine of which came from beyond the arc where she was 3-for-6 on the night. She also added five boards, a block and a steal.

Brie Opdyke has proved to be a steady offensive presence for the Clones all season. Tonight, the former RVCC Lion had 19-points and 10-rebounds in 18-minutes on the floor. This is the fourth double-double of the season for Opdyke and the 15th time this season she has scored 12-points or more.
It's About the TEAM
12 different Centenary players touched the floor with 11 of them recording at least one bucket. The bench came to play for the Clones, outscoring Pratt 38-0. Cent also found an advantage in the paint, outscoring their opponent 38-24 on the night.
