HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Centenary University baseball team fell in a pair of tough losses to Marymount University in Atlantic East action on Saturday afternoon.
Alex Lemery had two hits, two runs scored and two RBIs to lead the Saints to a 7-2 victory in game-one. Ten different Cyclones recorded a hit in game-two but it wasn't enough as Marymount secured a 17-2 win.
Prior to the start of game-one, the Cyclones took time to honor seniors

Game One Recap (Marymount Won 7-2):
Marymount used a four-run second inning to take an early advantage in this contest. Lemery had an RBI single and came around to score on
Robby Cable's double.
Centenary cut its deficit in half with runs in the third and fourth and made it a 4-2 game. Fleck had an RBI single to plate
Paul Links in the third while
Nick Payne had an RBI single that scored
Anthony Vassallo in the fourth.
Marymount tacked on three more runs and secured the 7-2 victory in game-one.
Kenny Sysyn earned the win on the mound for the Saints. He tossed a complete game and allowed just the two runs on nine hits.
Nick Guiro took the loss for the Cyclones as he gave up seven runs on 15 hits in five innings of action.
In addition to Lemery's two hits, two runs scored and two RBIs in the game, Marymount got three hits and two runs scored from
Ryan Lee.
Links had three hits and a run scored for the Cyclones while Fleck had two hits and an RBI.
Game Two Recap (Marymount Won 17-2):
Marymount grabbed an early lead in this one with three runs in the top of the first.
The Saints extended their lead to 5-0 with a two-run home run from
Ryan Maylie in the third.
Marymount continued to find its offensive rhythm and held a 10-0 lead through its half of the fifth inning.
Centenary got on the board in the bottom of the fifth.
Cole Heitzman drew a bases loaded walk that forced in
James Howlett. Links then crossed the dish on a double play ball.
The Saints tacked on seven runs late for the 17-2 victory.
Drew Mead got the win as he went five innings and gave up two runs on seven hits.
Jake Keenan took the loss for the Cyclones as he went four innings and surrendered six runs on six hits.
Maylie had three hits, three RBIs and three runs scored for the Saints.
Howlett and Links each had a hit and a run scored for Cyclones.
Centenary is back in action on Friday, May 6 when it hosts Cabrini at 3 p.m.
